Mowing The Detroit Mower Gang

I have been mowing Detroit parks and playgrounds as part of the Detroit Mower Gang. A bunch of people show up at a playground with all manner of yard tools including garbage bags, string trimmers, lawn mowers, tractors, ZTR's and big farm size tractors. It's a lot of fun for a great cause with allot of nice people. Detroit has over 300 parks and playgrounds that they can't aford to maintain. I think this is a great idea. Community members, taking care of the community.

I did notice this though:

"BulletSafe provides some of our gang members with Bulletproof vests to keep us safe."

It's a sad state of affairs when someone giving back to the community would have to worry about being shot while cleaning up a park or playground. I sincerely hope no one ever has to test the effectiveness of those vests.
