Agreed. I've been a Rush fan since I first heard Lakeside Park on the radio, early 1976 maybe. Alex does indeed get overlooked.

I was just browsing my CD collection last night, and was looking at the first two Camel albums. Great stuff. Of course, David Paton and Stuart Tosh of Pilot and Alan Parsons Project spent some time with them in the early '80s. I believe Andrew was also the only consistent member through their history.

So many great guitar players out there who deserve more recognition. Guthrie Govan is my current favorite. Insanely talented guy.

There's a funny video floating out there, in fact I think it made it's way into the Beyond the Lighted Stage movie, of Alex and Geddy being spotted by some fans while eating in a diner.

The other patrons all recognized Geddy, with his distinctive long hair and big nose, but don't realize the average-looking guy sitting across the table from him is Alex. At one point, they ask Alex to hold their camera and get a picture of them with "the bassist from Rush". :ROFLMAO:

Garth Hudson, the last surviving member of Canadian-American rock group The Band, has died.
Very sad to hear of this. No one made the Lowrey organ sound better.

Yes she did. Sadly. The ALS had robbed her off her ability to sing after being diagnosed on 2022 per an artical that I was reading.
