Honestly, I was surprised when I heard this as I was sure that she'd 'carked it' a while (couple of years) ago.

Perhaps that was due to her 'retiring' due to illness, though.
They didn’t come out and say it but it appears she died of her own hand.

Sinead O'Connor was a VERY troubled soul...has been for years.

Interesting that NBC continued their ban right thru her death, no mention on tonight's news. She was banned from the network when she tore up the photo of the pope on SNL, as protest over their handling of child abuse within the church, at a time when that subject hadn't yet blown up into the shitstorm it eventually became. Timing is everything.

It's hard to think of 1990 without remembering that album, for those of us of a certain age.

Randy Meisner of Eagles fame died.

Eagles my fave group. Randy had a great voice. Hate to see them dying off. Really makes you feel your own age.

Dude could sing. Best range of any of them and his harmony was second to none.

Sad to hear but the news articles were interesting. Randy played with a lot of folks.

Canadian singer Robbie Robertson has died. A lot of people remember him as the lead singer of “The Band”,

but he also had a diverse career, and there were a few solo songs of his which I really enjoyed.
