Good idea on the lights. Slipped off the house last Feb and screwed up my elbow. What size/manufacturer blower are you using?

48" Ford 715 blower. It's about 15-20 years old (bought it used). A 54" would be a better fit - the 48" is the same width as the tractor - so when turning, the wheels get into the snow.

Great pics, hazmat! Boy, am I missing those big storms right now. Around here, we get our big storms like that in March and April, when the snow is usually heavy and wet. That's why I need to get some property in the mountains - they get those kinds of storms up there all winter. There's nothing better than a nice 2' snow storm - something fun about digging out of a ridiculously deep snow storm. I can't understand how some people can hate that so much.

Maybe what I need to do is take the family back to Northwest Connecticut and stay in my mom's house for the big winter storms (she winters in North Carolina), then head back out here in March for our big snows. That way, I get to experience twice as much snow, and a longer season! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
