The B2620 has landed!

HI all. I'm a newbie on here. I just purchased a B2920 about two months ago.After many nights of reading TBN posts and visits to dealers I could not be happier with my choice of KUBOTA. They are truly the ''CADILLAC" of tractors. While I don't have many hours on this unit I have had only one issue with it and it was the mmm height control. After about 2hrs of mowing it would not hold adjustment. I will post my findings in the owning/operating section .

I got my 2620 back today with the newly adjusted mower deck and right tires (bar/turf). The mower height is still off by about an inch. 3.5 on the dial gets me 2.5" from the blades to the concrete. They bottomed out the adjusters to get it to come up this high. I still think something is not right there but I mowed tonight with it and it is a BEAST. The bar/turf tires are awesome. I will post some pics of them. I'm wondering if I lost that inch of mowing adjustment because these tires are smaller than the turfs. The backs are 31x15.50-15 and the fronts are 21x8-10. The turf set was 33x12.50-15 back and 23x8.50-12 fronts. I removed the loader and ballast box for mowing and it was a piece of cake. The top link bangs on the folded down ROPS when placed in the holder so I just removed it for now. The one thing I'm confused about is how much throttle I should be using for mowing. The manual didn't say. All it said was don't run it at full speed for the first 50 hrs. I'll continue these owning/operating questions in the proper forum, but I did get my beloved 2620 back and finally got to try it out!

Man I got to say. That's a nice looking unit. I hope you have many happy times useing that one. I think you did well getting that.

I'm quite sure that a difference in tire diameter could cause the condition you describe... If thats the case, I guess it's something you will need to adjust to..

I've had my 2620 for about 3 months now and adjusted the deck height myself. It took a little time to figure out after looking at the book, but I now have it within 1/8" of an inch. Although the dealer offered to adjust it, I chose to do it myself because I plan on being with this tractor for a long time and I need to learn what makes it tick.
