Actually it has been on re-runs here lately on one of the upper channels. Very funny old show that I did not get the pleasure of seeing as a kid. Gilligan's Island is running along with it. That one is in color.

IMO, John Goodman is obvious as the Skipper. I'm not an Adam Sandler fan, but he did occur to me as a possibility for Gilligan. I'm thinking that Betty White might be a little long in the tooth to play Mrs. Howell. How about Meryl Streep? I like your other choices.

With a red/white checkered button shirt tied at the waist, two pigtails. I watched that show and never wanted them to get off the island. Everyone thought Ginger was the hotty. Nope. It was MaryAnn.
