I just read this and thought I'd share it. I know allot of you have commented on not having a summer this year and here's the proof that you didn't.

It should be more like "NOAA records and publishes changes in the Earth's environment after the fact....

Tell that to my sister in Tucson! She's seen many + 100 degrees days this year.

Our summer here in northern Indiana was very cool this year. Only a couple 90 degree days. My grass was only dead for a couple months. Lots of rain at the right time for the crops, too. However, we had no late frosts, either, which was strange. That would indicate a warmer spring.

I'd be curious to see what the average global temps were this year, VS the average US temps.

Well, I was going to say that the thermometer in my area must have been broken, but the high resolution map shows that Texas was actually hotter than normal. Whew! I didn't want it to get any hotter than it has been.

Interesting read,last two summer has had above rain fall tho..just finish getting in second hay cut three weeks late,hopeing the forecast for winter well below normal.

It was 115, degrees today so I would love to have some 70's temps, heck when it hit's 70 I put on a parka.

Here is what happened to a box of coke I left in the truck over night, all the cans exploded inside the box and one even blew through the box.
