We gathered up several of heavy weight feeder calves and shipped them out. Averaged 800lbs and brought 1.53/lb. They really grew out well this year. The regular rain kept the grass growing and they really turned on to the creep feed. Most of these were born mid to late Feb and were Angus or Angus/Char cross all out of angus bulls. The creep feed was equal parts hulls, cracked corn, gluten, and a 16% developer. About a 12.5% blend, eating about 8 to 10lbs per head per day. How has everyone else's turned out?
