Thatcher blades for 300 series?

I bought a X300R last year and have about 15 hours on it now (1 oil change). The tractor has been a pleasure to mow with (except the time I tried to mow 5-6 hours after a morning rain shower..

)

However, now that the snow has finally melted and the ground is nearly dry enough to drive on - I'd like to remove last year's old grass.

Any recommendations on a thatching blade - manufacturer (OEM), etc.? Or other suggestions?

They make dethatcher blades, coil spring on the ends, but you will have to search for the length, and hole size. They also make dethatcher rakes that you push of tow. Spring loaded.

I use an inexpensive Sears tow behind dethatcher on my 3 acre yard, and it works well to pull up the dead growth. I also have a fan enhanced materials collection system, so I drive around after dethatching, and just pick up all the loose material with that. Sure beats raking! If I had a JD, I might look into the front mounted dethatcher they sell for them. More pricy, but it looks like it would work well, and would save one pass around the yard.
