Thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned that besides the content of the site, the PEOPLE also keep me coming back. It's been said before but is worth repeating, there aren't many sites on the net, especially ones as popular as TBN, that can maintain the kind of friendliness and civility that is the rule here. I think it's pretty cool that this site can bring together people who have hardly even seen a tractor before, people who've been farming for years, and people in the middle (like me), and no one feels dumb or out of place. It is truly a unique place.
As for my future, well hopefully you're right, rancar. Whether I end up farming or not, tractors are certainly part of the plan! And rest assured, the TBN gang will be the first to be consulted when the time comes, especially if it is a compact. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif In fact, you guys know a lot more about certain types of equipment than most farmers. If we're talking 200hp tractors and forage harvesters, most local farmers know what's going on. But for Kubotas, finish mowers, and box blades, I'll take TBN every time!
