Because of your high praise and good, detailed reviews, a brandy-new GT2544 made its way into my garage this evening.
I knew as soon as I got it off the trailer in my driveway that this is going to be a very long and tender love affair. Acually mowed my entire 3/4 acre hill before I even went inside and told my wife that I was home!

The sorrow of parting with my 10 year old 2135, "ol' Dependable", just yesterday is now a distant memory.

Good deal Bucky! glad you like it. I know I still cannot pass thru my garage without glancing over at mine (I Know. Gotta getta life /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif). Compared to what I was used to, it's an absolute pleasure to mow with. I no longer need my ear protection and athletic supporter /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif. Be sure to address the 'assembly' issues with the 2544: wiring, headlights, main harness, fuse holders and either remove or make sure the stickers and 'taillights' dont fall off! Oh.. and I've found the deck wash system to be a total joke. The deck stays really clean underneath for me in side discharge mode, but the wash system just makes a huge wet mess & doesnt get all the clumps anyway!
