I just purchased a Yanmar 1510D after a solid year of deliberation and research. That research leaned heavily on the experience and knowledge of the people on these forums and I would like to thank the everyone here for all the help that you provided through your posts. That information was invaluable.

Here's the little beast as it came from it's previous owner just last week:



I've got a bit of work to do on it but it's basically a sound machine. My first job today is to swap the front tires around so that they are no longer reversed and do a good cleaning and degreasing. Let the fun begin!

Front tires reversed? They look right in pic? Nice buy, that loader will be handy. A good cleaning and some paint on the loader and wheels will dress it up.

The front wheels on this 4WD Yanmar have a positive offset, like the wheels on front wheel drive cars. The previous owner had reversed them to increase stability but that puts a lot of stress on the front hubs, especially with a loader.

The loader is a home built but it works well and looks to be pretty well built. At least all the hydraulics on it are new and leak free. Sadly, it wasn't painted at all before it was plumbed and mounted on the tractor. I'll have lots of rust removal to do on it before it can be painted.

If you notice it gone in the morning, no need to worry. I just took it for a joy ride and will bring it back before noon. :laughing:

In that case, you wouldn't have to enjoy it for me as I've already enjoyed it myself.
