TF500 vs TF500A

Stopped at a local Yanmar dealer to pick up some hydraulic fluid. Asked for TF500, they had only TF500A, and said it was just a newer version of the same fluid.

Can I use the TF500A? Can I just add it to the TF500 currently in use?

Yes they where correct you can use either TF500 or the new version of TF 500A
