Texas rains, don't this beat all

Our high temps are in the 70's!!!!!!!!!!!

You know my younger brother and his wife live in a big fifth-wheel, spend the winters near Waco, and then go to Ellensburg, WA, for the summer where it's a bit cooler, he can play golf 2 or 3 days a week, and of course the grandkids are there. This summer, he's helping with big crews of volunteers to build a new sanctuary for a church there.

And yesterday evening when it was 76 degrees here, it was 105 there!

Rain? Rain? ...no idea what that is. One half inch in the last year and about the same the year before. Only 119 yesterday! Still cooler than Death Valley so I guess it's OK.

...and you say a little rain is the problem?

But you have all that shade from the Joshua trees...
