Alot of hay around now in South Texas, On the average between $70.00-$100.00 for a 4x5 round. Small squares for $7.00-$12.00. Also alot of crap ( corn stocks ) for about $60.00. Alot of it shipped in from the North.
Horse people want alfalfa or clean coastal. I sold my livestock, just refuse to pay that much. No mercy down here. Prices will go up about $20.00 per round real soon now. Only rain we get is from a hurricane in the summer. Cattle prices are at an all time high and I don't have any to sell.
