I call it the "Old Tank" (we call ponds tanks out here) because it was the only one on the property when I bought it, besides the spring hole.Which of your numerous ponds is this?

hilarious. Of course, the prohibited weapon statute that we used forbid the carrying of pistols (and a bunch of other weapons) "on or about his person, saddlebags, or portfolio" unless he was "travelling".

Calling a pond a tank is a new one for this old guy.
And I was grown before I ever heard anyone use the word "pond" in normal conversation. Everyone had a tank or two, but ponds were just something in those danged poetry books at school.:laughing: Although I think there were a few rich folks who had "fish ponds" for goldfish in their backyards.
Last night we watered the VFD yard. Boys and Toys.
