Yay looks like another round. But I remember the drought of 2011 so not gonna complain too much. Just ready for a little drier ground.

It's not really plentiful up north either, The guys that got a third cut, didn't produce a quality hay.

Round bales are still going for $60 a bale. Mom just sold some. Kyle you have a hay field are you able to produce any?

Too wet, and nobody wants to come cut my hay because there is not enough to make a lot of money. I don't fertilize, because I can't get it cut and baled.

I did see a solid fertilizer trailer being pulled back to town this evening.

Is $60 a "normal" price up here? During bad years, my friend can't sell all of his and lets "last year's hay" sell for 1/2 price.

$60 is normal. High is $75-$120. Low is $30, usually old hay.

Everything is good, I'm just ready for summer to get here. I've been watching YouTube channels all winter on brush hogging. I'm ready to get out.

Well my parents tractor got stole so I have let them use mine but it's getting about that time. Prolly looking to just let them buy mine and buy smaller frame cab tractor no more than I do now days.

Everything is good. Thought I would miss the county life when I move to the city and I was right. It took me a while but I found just about everything in this 4000 acre community, including unlimited tractor use, trail making, wood shop, raised bed gardening and miles of hiking that I missing right after the move. My "farming" experience is really appreciated here. The added plus is it's legal to dive utility vehicles - golf carts on public roads in the neighborhood and someone else maintains the pool.

Sorry to hear about your parent's tractor, was it stolen from their house or a remote location?

Yes sir been busy change of things since moved to Leona. Sold all the cows and hay equip.,now just the sons basketball and baseball mainly. Still live out in the country just not busy ranching and more playing riding dirt bikes and such.I still have my tractor,shredder,sprayer and such but place is leased out for cattle. Still do little here and there in place keep it nice but just in free time.

You ain't lying good stuff. Wife grew up in this area we are 7miles from there.
