Don, Ron, are you folks still planning for Paige Roadhouse meal? If so, What day?

And why don't we just invite anyone and all to come? :)

Looks like the rain is settling in for a couple of days with some milder temps. We can sure use it as the lakes and stock tanks are still low.

Not looking forward to the drive into Dallas on Saturday in the rain. We're going to make it a quick trip though. Hit the road early and go to Jimmy's in near East Dallas to get the Salami, Cheeses and the stuff to make the Antipasto for the Thanksgiving. Then hopefully get back on the road and out of town before they even know that we were there.

It will be the Traditional Fare, Turkey & Dressing and all the fixin's but Denise always makes the Antipasto Appetizer. I think one of our Daughters in Law wouldn't make the trip if there were no Antipasto. The meal is always a lot of work but it's well worth it when we get everyone around the table. I just hope the weather is nice so we can get outside with the Grandkids.

Our travel plans should get us in Lexington 12/1. Have not made plans with Don yet. Sounds like a good idea. Current plans have us leaving area on the 5th.

Just make sure you remember to shut the door up there when you leave. Don't bring all that cold down here, we've already had a winter's worth. :)

And safe travels to you all.

Most definitely Kyle. The dates 12/2, 12/3, and 12/4 looks like the target area. Any date better? Kyle, what time is good for you? Mike, Brandi, any others?

Just finished these for a customers .. Paint them tomorrow

Reminds me of a neighbor's gate that has these words in the middle...............WE DO NOT CALL 911. I'm still more partial to rolling gates. Never cared for doubles. When they are manual, you have two gates to open in the rain!

Do you fab them on the floor, or do you have some low work benches to build them up on?
hugs, Brandi

Really nice, How did you keep it all straight? Did you plan on any droop?

My welding table is 5' x 7' .. 42" tall the top is not solid it is slated.. I lay out the main frame and several clamps to hold it true straight and square .. Weld it up .. I cut "jig" pieces for proper spacing and start putting in the uprights from one side to the other ,. .. Once I've finished one side I un clamp and flip it over to weld the other side.. When it's welded there is no droop .. This set will get double gate openers

Everything was done here .. I have a tube roller/pipe roller with both round and square dies .. I rolled the tops .. Rolled the circles.

The horse shoes, the ranch brands and the horse head was layed out and cut on my CNC plasma table.

I can take any (almost any) JPEG photo and produce metal art. It's rewarding.. Time consuming and when the wife sees something .. It's dangerous.. "I want one!"

I woke to thunder about 3:20 a.m. and since I'm nearly deaf without my hearing aids, I didn't know how much it was raining. But I got up about 4:30 and had less than .2" in the gauge; only about .3" now.

I'm showing 2.3" in my gauge and a nice steady rain .. Makes for a lazy day!!
