I've only gotten about 3.56" in my gauge in 4 days, but it just stays misty; barely enough to have to use the windshield wipers.

We got a drop or two over 7 inches. Yesterday morning I went out to the island pond and studied all the run off behind the dam. Now I got a better idea how to enlarge the pond. Especially after bringing this bad boy home........View attachment 460494
It's a 1992 Ford F700.

Nice! I tried to find a decent dump truck, like yours, back in early 1990's when I was doing a lot of digging along a seasonal creek bed. Everything was either a pile crap or sky high $$, even two piles of crap that were sky high$$. :)

Nice. If you keep getting more equipment, I'm gonna sell you some land near me. :)

That will work. The more gullies and ravines...............the better. Most folks don't like them, but I see ravines at a blank canvass.

We managed a total rainfall of 5", that will really help the Oaks but is putting a damper on our garden plans.

Nice dumptruck Brandi! 7.3 liter diesel I hope?

I only got a total of 3.70" and the sun came out before noon today. Now I need to get the truck washed.

We got 6" last Wednesday and overnight and another 3/4" that came thru about 2:30 am today.

Had to go down and pull out 2 vehicles at our neighbors who showed up this morning. They are here 2-3 times a year and still don't know that this sandy soil is quicksand for a few days after a big rain. Their place is really low, part of one of our pastures drains down to their entire 17 acres. They managed to dig both vehicles down to running boards and only angle I had, to retrieve them with NH TL100A, was 90 degrees to both vehicles. I think they now understand, or maybe not.

Jack,
I do not care for V8 diesels. I'm a inline 6 fan. It is a Ford 6.6l inline 6 turbo diesel with a Eaton Road Ranger 9 speed backing it up. Ford power only because Cummins powered trucks were too new, thus expensive. I think Cummins started putting diesels in Ford F700s in 1993. I measured the bed yesterday and it is a 7.75 cubic yard bed!

The inline's were great and a solid engine, and you found a good one. There aren't many of those engines around any longer. That is enough capacity to do just about anything you would want to do.

It's odd how prices go up and down and the exact opposite at the next auction.
