Tempurpedic confusion.

I roll over many times a night, so it sounds that the memory foam isn't an option. That, and the heat build up, would drive me nuts! So what are my mattress options for use with an electrically adjustable bed?

A well built latex mattress would be an excellent option. It's like handling a 150 pound limp rag.

Good thread. Nice to hear some positive feedback on the Sleep Number.

We are what you might consider "stuck in the seventies" as we still sleep on a water bed (and like it). That said, we'll probably be shopping for a new bed in the next couple of years or so.

That's what we had and liked for years, we tried the Tempur in the store and liked them, but the wife immediately commented about the the heat, they also had the i comforts and liked the second most firm. tried it for the trial and had no heat reflection problems for me or her but did seem to soft after a couple months sooo back it went.
We exchanged that for the firmest I comfort and we are happy with it. didn't try the sleep # - but if the I comfort ever becomes un comfortable that is what we will try first...

Craft matic is probably the best bet, think they sell replacement mattresses, we had one for a few years but tried replacing the mattress with standard coil ones. this results in a ruined mattress after just a few times of adjusting the bed so coils are out

We got our Tempurpedic 2 years ago, I'll never own anything else. After years of fighting mattresses, either I liked it and wife didn't or other way around. I don't remember the model but it was one of the cheaper that was available in king size, around $2200 as I recall for mattress and foundation, delivered and set up. I have 3 bulging discs and I get no back pain or discomfort.
