Temperature sensor

Does anybody have a cross referance on ym 2000 temp sensor. I thought I would just go down to Napa and get a new one, but they nor anyone else auto or tractor in town could come up with a match. I think a read a post quite awhile a go about puting gauges on, any thoughts or ideas would be a great help

I doubt that you'll be able to find an identical match. Here is a link of one that is close:

40-5002, closes at 190-202F

You can also do a search for the following temperature switches, however, I know the threads are correct but I don't have a clue on the other dimensions:

40-5036 (209-219F)
38-5077 (235F)
40-5033 (236-250F)

The original switch closes at 248F. I would probably order an original switch to avoid the worry of selecting one that will cause the light to come on too early.
