temperature gage

Hope this works. The gage is mounted by the air cleaner and the temp sender mounted to the thermostat housing

I removed the temp light probe completely, there is a hole in the dash where the temp light was.I used the temp probe tap for the outlet for the block heater and the block drain tap for the block heater inlet. I tapped a hole in the thermostat housing for the temp gauge sender. Both modifications work very well and cause no problems.

Do you know what size those threads were in the temp probe tap? I am going to just replace the light switch probe for a gauge probe,

I just checked my probe, the threads are 3/8 pipe.

Okay. Is your engine a Mitsubishi or Isuzu? I thought everything on mine was metric.

My engine is a KE-75. I think that is a Mitsubishi. I have never known of metric pipe threads. Remove your probe and take it to a hardware store and screw it into a 3/8 pipe fitting I bet it fits perfectly.
