where should my temperature run while working my ym2010. also, is it normal for the tractor to jump when shifting gears on the go keeping a steady throttle, it is a powershift model. thanks chris:thumbsup:

It has a thermostat. Not sure what set at , but probably 180*. If by jumping you mean slamming into gear like speed shifting any standard trans. I would say that's probably normal.

If you use the clutch during high RPMs it will stop the wheelies and its easier on your ring & pinion gear.

The power shift was not meant to be shifted (without) the clutch at real high RPMs.

Although, wheelies are fun if you have a roll bar ;) ;)just joking...

thanks for the help. mine already has some slack in the ring and pinion, i will use the clutch or just start off in the gear i need to be on the safe side. my temp gauge stays between the 1/4 and 1/2 way mark. put about 3hrs on it building a house pad and it did great. :)
