Temp Gauge For Non-Deluxe TCs

I spent about 5 minutes over the new year weekend looking at my manual and that's the conclusion I came up with --- but I'm stubborn - and haven't given up hope yet. still going to look. like you I would prefer a factory look to it, but may have to settle for something less. I made a 2 week trip to Kansas City and just got back ... getting caught up here is tough!

Mike, do you have the maintenance/repair and parts manuals? I have them and have recently analyzed this circuit in detail because of a faulty thermostat in my tractor. Although I think your wiring harness is the same, the cost of a new instrument cluster and sending unit is probably prohibitive. I don't know how you would do a "professional" installation without replacing them though. /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif

exactly my thoughts - $$ vs. just how picky am I? - yes I have the manuals - but so far have found litttle time to read them - they're in the country and when I'm there I spend darn little time sitting around. I always have 10 days of work to try to do in 2. AND I LOVE IT! /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif I have the books primarily to help me fix it when I break it. I currently have the drain line to fix (AGAIN!) this time with a cutoff in line and a reroute over the top of the loader frame instead of under. I'm watching TBN closely on replacement of the block fitting - but so far mine doesn't leak. knock on wood. I do definitely want a temp gauge though - so we'll see what shakes out - hopefully before summer.
