temp gauge 650 ford

working on a ford 650 replaceing temp gauge any one here have a idea how to get the old brass seal out of the head i cant turn the new nut in far enough to get it to stop leaking maybe it will seal with one of the new seals that came with it thanks mike

no magic to it.. just unthread the old one try a flair wrench..

i guess i was'nt clear i got the nut and sending unit out ,but then up in the head theres a brass seal or seat that the sending unit tightens up to but i did get it out with a ezz out thanks mike

i was sure you would know what i was talking about soundguy i think you know every part on these old ford tractors i reckon i dont know what a flair wrench is and i am sure i will have other problems i will need help with have a good day and thanks mike

well, no surprise.. i spelled flare wrench wrong


good tools to have. crows feet as well.


every part? naa.. a few things i don't mess with much. power steering and trannies. I try not to get too far into those.
