Temp/fuel gauge jump around jd 2155

My 1987 jd 2155 is having problems with the temp and fuel gauges twitching. The temp gauge after a few minutes shows overheating but when I checked the temp not even close to overheating. I replaced temprature sensor and thermostat but still no fix. When the gauges twitch the tachometer twitches too. I have checked all connections and cleaned firewall connection too. Any help would be great. Seems to be electrical but I sure can't find it.

When I purchased my 5210 years ago, the temp gauge was jumping around. I cleaned up the negative cable end where it connects to the tractor as well tractor location, the bolt and the screw hole the bolt went into and the problem went away.

Sounds like a bad ground, "usually" these three are all connected by the same "ground",
check around your dash console, for grounds to frame etc. A schematic would help find the ground wire.
