Box Blade has rippers on it. Thought about a landscape rake, but not sure how that works with thick vegetation? Seems like it would just clog.
As far as pigs, that痴 a good idea! I don稚 have any access to pigs right now. Neighbor has cows and horses he could put in there once I finish fence. Which would be better, cows or horses? Or both?

Don稚 have any plans to re-plant for now, no plans to manicure with finish mower. Just want to smooth out.

Horses?
I guess you could fill in one or two low spots after they step in a hole, break their leg and then you bury them in the hole. :D
...neighbor might not be too happy though.

I would use the rippers to dig the high spots and shove dirt around so at least it is somewhat smooth. If you need it better, kill the vegetation and further smooth out when it is drier.

Only 3 acres.

Pick axe and shovel to fill the holes, then smooth with blade.

Put those kids to work!

I would mow it with the flail mower. Walk the are first, to look for surprises, then mow it with the mower set a bit high, and moving slowly. Mow it again after it grows back a bit. Then I would use a tiller to loosen up the high spots, and level them out with your bucket or box bade.

I had the very same problem with my field on approximately 5 acres. I had uneven field, with deep tractor ruts from years ago where previous owners tractors got stuck when mowing when wet. There are lots of different ways to tackle the problem.

I walked the field for 1 hour, looking for hidden debris like fence posts, barbed wire and found lots of that, which the previous owner just mowed around. I removed all debris. Then scalped all vegetation with Bush hog, followed up by a zero turn mower.

Hitting the high areas with a box blade with rippers, multiple times from different angles, slowly evens out the highs and moved soil into the lows. I need to build experience doing this. Get a drag and spend hours using the drag.

You will see the improvements. I then got five trucks of river sand, moved that around the field with the loader and box blade, followed up with hours of work with the drag. Planted Bermuda field grasses and now looking good, and much easier to mow now.

We purchased 50 acres, 25 woods, 25 pasture, Hilly, that has had cattle only for 30 years. It was so ruff, I was afraid of breaking an ankle walking across it. I did 2 passes with a 7 1/2' Box Frame Disc on medium aggressive setting, and 1 pass with a 96" Landscape Rake. I was very amazed at how well it turned out.

You guys aren稚 helping. Too many options! All good options though.

Would a disc require mowing first? Or just run it?

Would a CK3510 effectively pull a heavy enough disc?

Mow first! The less vegitation, the better.

CK3510 is 3,000 pounds bare tractor with 35-horsepower.

You only have the weight to pull a disc harrow with 18" diameter pans, which is the lightest disc harrow that will move some bare dirt.

For smoothing your pasture you would be better served by a PTO powered roto-tiller, which will move more dirt.

Disc harrows and roto-tillers both mix soils.

However, I recommend flail, box blade, FEL bucket. Ample equipment for three acres.

Box Blade is designed to transport dirt and that is the essence of what you want to do.
