Not sure what your dash looks like... On the Grand Ls we have a fancy LCD dash & one of the menus is a % full indicator for the DPF. I'm pretty sure economy Ls & MXes don't have any fancy displays. Just the idiot light when its regen time.
If I'm just puttering around I don't kick up the engine RPMs high. I may get more often regens because of it, but thats not a big deal. As I mow a lot or plow snow, my RPMs are usually up so I don't have to do anything & the regen kicks in automatically. Often without me even noticing.
Engines under 25hp don't need the emissions gear. Which is why the low power L2501 was created. Under powered vs the other economy Ls, but is noticeably cheaper & simpler due to the lack of emissions gear.

I have 3 Kubotas all with different regen. My SVL75-2 has the most frequent regens, no particulate matter monitor, but fastest regen time. I only need to keep rpm up a bit when it is in regen. My L6060 varies between 3 hours and 70 hours. 3 hours is using a hay baler which has plunger strokes at 75 per minute and I assume a smoke puff with each stroke (watching videos of older tractors - they put out a trail of smoke puffs behind them). Work it steady hard and it often drops percentage plugged, sometimes as much as 25% in a hard run. My M7-171 is most consistent. It gens at about 11 to 15 hours, can take as long as 30 minutes for a regen. In over 2000 hours on my DPF equipped Kubotas, I have never performed a parked regen.
So there is no single answer as every tractor model will respond differently. You may need to raise rpm when lights start flashing indicating you need to increase. I only remembering this happening once as I’m normally operating at higher engine speed.

Mine doesn't have it either. Some of these guys must have the deluxe model.
I use mine the same as Fallon describes, although after a thread which ran a few months ago I've started running it a bit harder. Using my winch is probably the worst, bring in a couple of trees then idle it down while I go hook up a couple more.

There isn't one on my MX5400, that I'm aware of. Probably a Grand L or large tractor feature.

Done three regens on an MX6000 with just over 200 hours. Light comes on...flashes...up rpms...continue working or whatever until light goes out.
Tractor is doing a lot of fel work and not much else so far. So it idles a lot.

The particulate filter status? That痴 fairly new.
I did not get a chance to look at the tractor.
I went to wire up some breakers and did not have a 40amp 2 pole for the over and did not have one. I ran to Menards....none, Lowes, none, All Phase Electric, none, 2 Ace Hardware stores, zero, Called 2 other electric suppliers, none. Finally found one 15 miles away. Put 55 miles on the Explorer today.
