Did a little more this weekend
- cleaned and and roughed up the who body ready for painting. Got a little primer on the guards

- while I had the wheels off I noticed quite a few studs had come loose and hence the reason for the leaking hubs. One of the bolts was snapped but I think I'm going to leave it for a while. There is only a tiny leak as it's the very bottom one. Nothing major. IMG_20190818_125456_resize_12.jpegIMG_20190818_125508_resize_59.jpeg

Sorry about the poor lighting....Sprayed the wheels and a few little bits and pieces.

Just have the front wheels and hood left to do. And also buy some new chains for the lower arms for the rear. IMG_20190825_205838_resize_62.jpegIMG_20190825_205827_resize_56.jpegIMG_20190825_205805_resize_87.jpeg

Got the wheels primed and started to prep the bonnet as well. Had to weld new metal to where the headlights were because the brackets had rusted through.
Also got new stay chains for the lower arms but don't have a photo yet. IMG_20190901_075318_resize_94.jpegIMG_20190901_075329_resize_31.jpegIMG_20190901_075308_resize_95.jpeg

Well today marked a major milestone!!! I have finished the restoration and I can safely say I'm quite pleased with the results.

Is it perfect? No. Does it have a few dings? Yes. It wouldn't make a purist excited but I have plans to use it through the drier months her in Australia rather than it sitting in a shed collecting dust.

I'm sad to have finished but now maybe the mf35 will get some attention

Thanks for everyone following!IMG_20190907_162741_resize_57.jpegIMG_20190907_162734_resize_44.jpegIMG_20190907_162726_resize_38.jpegIMG_20190907_162824_resize_38.jpegIMG_20190907_162814_resize_84.jpegIMG_20190907_162748_resize_77.jpeg

Looks great something to be proud of . When you did your tune up did you time it? I ask because my friend just bought a MF 35 135 or 235 we are not shure because we can't find any numbers on it . It is yellow everywhere not a repaint .It has a MF200 loader on it . But when we look at Mf 235 they have a HD front axle . His is pretty much like yours. Getting back to timeing was their a timeing pointer on the block anywhere? We looked everywhere and can't find one. Keep up the good work.:drink:
