Any NH owners had trouble with hydraulics "locking up" to the point that the loader, remotes, nor lift arms will not move? Neighbor has a TN75 4WD that locks up from time to time. Has to remove pump plug, start engine, rotate sterling wheel to bleed, then replace plug. Has to do this seven to eight times each summer. Any ideas what might be the problem?

My first suggestion would be to make sure the hydraulic filter is screwed on tight. Second thought is to check the condition of the coupling hose on the suction tube at the filter base, and if they are still there, replace the chickensquat factory hose clamps with something more modern that can be tightened. Air leaks in this area can cause the pumps to have difficulty picking up prime when the tractor is not used for extended periods of time.
