Ok $27,600 now with financing is more like it. I didnt want anyone reading to think they could just go get one at $24600 for the ehss like stated earlier. More like $27,600 CNH financing or $26,100 cash or other means. That is more realistic.

That price was with outside financing or cash. Financing through CNH would have added about $1500 to the price.

The SSS is closer to what I am used to. I learned to drive on a tractor and have been clutching ever since.

And people keep saying that 0% financing is really zero. I've made this point before.

That is why they always recommend with cars to get financing from Bank, Credit Union, Online, and Cash/Check buy a car from a dealer to be able to make full use of rebates and such.

I see it on here (Tractyor Forums) enough I am beginning to think that it is sound advice on tractors.

You have to do the math before you finance. I bought my tractor with 2.9% financing for 8 years through NH and it cost $1500 more for the tractor but i saved thousands. In my case if i went to another bank and got financing to save $1500 i would have to get 3.01% financing versus 2.9% for 8 years to equal the same interest paid. Let say i went to a bank and got 6% financing for 4 years that would equal the same interest also but double the payments. If you can get a 2.9% financing deal through NH then your way better off then financing elsewhere even if you save $1500 which you really dont. 3.9% would be better as well.

Now for cars its the same thing you get 0% or $1500 Back for example..... do the math and you will see the 0% will be better because you will pay $1500 in interest easily so think about your options and do the math.

Just to clarify, the SSS is not the same as the EHSS, and will not have the power shuttle feature. That's costs about $1k, until you use one, then it might be worth a whole lot more.

Good point.

It turns out I was right at first. I picked up the tractor this morning. The total price was $26,100 and it has EHSS.

Thanks, Mike. So far, I love it. It's so much easier to use than the 8N I used last year.
