New Holland TC45DA
Hi, I a hoping the forum can help me with my newly-acquired used TC45DA New Holland Tractor. The working lights and rear tail lights do not work. When I turn the rocker switch on it illuminates, but the upper work lights don't come on. The Main Headlights work fine on both high and low beam, and indicator/hazard lights also work. At no stage do the rear tail lights work and all globes have been checked.
I found the fuse panel underneath the instrument cluster and checked fuses, all look OK. My next step was to see if there is power getting from the rocker switch to the relay but I don't have a repair manual so I cannot locate where the relay panel is. Can anyone help?

Were fuses tested?.... Looks "ok" can be deceiving... Next step is to trace wires from lamps back (with meter or test probe) and where you finally find their power (12 volts) that will be in area of your problem....

One of these can be your new best friend...

Put clip to good ground (chassis or body or battery negative) and probe for the power that lights your lamps.... A wiring diagram helps (If you have one) ...

Thanks Dale, the problem I have is that I don't have a repair manual which shows me how to access the relay panel, or even the back of the rocker switch so that I can see if:
(a) Power is leaving the rocker switch
(b) Getting to the relay coil
(c) Relay is switching through to the lights
I have tried downloading a repair manual without much luck so I can get some detail on how to remove panels etc to gain access. Will keep trying when I get some "spare" time:) Thanks for the help. Danny

My alternative is exploration, removing panels and identifying wires by color code at non function lamps and start tracing them back to where ever "control circuits" and such may be.... IF its something like a black wire with green stripe at lamps, it's most likely going to be same wire color combination at light switch or fuse panel...
