TC45DA Jumper Wire

What is this jumper wire for on my TC45DA it’s on left rear behind the tire and underneath the fuel tank?

Do you have draft control? If you don't it could be for that.

You could probably determine if it’s a safety switch for something- just take the jumper wire out and see if you can start it. If it won’t start, put the jumper wire back in and leave it for the next owner to figure out what it’s for…….

Seat safety bypassed?

Kinda looks like its close to where an operator seat would go

Try driving the tractor and standing up off the seat and see if it kills the machine

It’s not the seat safety switch. That wiring runs on the top side of the fuel tank. But it looks identical to my 2001 TC45D which came like that when it was new.

I agree that it is a factory setup.
