I've operated farm tractors for 62 of my 70 years. This is the first hydro trans that I've had. I didn't even know the thing had cruise control when I bought it (used). I must say, it's real nice to have for mowing pastures. However, it stopped working last year.

I checked the fuse first thing, but that is okay. Anybody have any idea on the next logical steps or the most likely issue?

Thanks

Mine quit a while back. I had to replace the switch. I could tell it went bad from the feel, wouldn't stay down when I pressed it. Messick's has it for $36.23, 7 in stock.

Another possibilty: If it's the same cruise system as my TC33D then you might check and adjust the contact points underneath by the linkage. I know I found quite a few threads with pictures and detailed directions.

I has the same issue on my TC33D and the brake switch needed to be adjusted. When pressing the brake it opens the circuit and drops power off the magnet that hold the rocker pedal in position the desired position.
