TC45DA - 3rd Function

Hello all,

Just got my first tractor to help clean up behind timber company on property that I purchased to build on. Gonna get a root grapple and am looking for some input on the 3rd function for my 2004 TC45DA with BH850 BH.

I'm somewhat handy, but not a mechanic by any means. Any/all input is welcomed.

Does your FEL have the 3rd function already installed or are you wanting to add it?

You can either add a third function valve or run it off a rear remote. NH does not offer a complete kit any longer that I could find for my 16LA loader. You can buy the individual parts from NH but that is expensive. W. R. Long makes a third function kit that my local dealers recommend for a third function valve and hoses. If you have a rear remote just add hard piped hoses to the FEL with quick connects for flexible hoses at the front of the driver's platform. Run two flexible hoses under the driver's platform to the rear remote.
