Now my hour meter quit working. Is there a place on the web to get the wiring diagram for this tractor? Or weres the best place to by the maint. books?

I would not "waste" my money on a Repair Manual for finding out about the proofmeter circuit. It is nothing but a timer that runs when the alternator has a output. It is not tied to the engine RPM, but is just an engine running clock. That is all I could find in the Repair Manual. There is no circuit diagram for it.

On the deluxe tractors, the temperature gage, tachometer, and fuel gage are replaceable parts. The proofmeter is part of the instrument cluster. I'm afraid you will end up having to buy a whole instrument cluster to replace it if you cannot remove and disassemble the panel to get it working.

If you remove the instrument cluster by removing the two screws, then you can flip it over and remove the electrical plug. Next, you can remove the screws around the perimeter on the back of the panel and take it apart. Perhaps a lube of the meter will get it going again. Good luck.
