I bought 2002 TC40DA in January and have used it mainly to develop food plots for deer in NE PA. Heaviest jobs include clearing stumps dug out by a friend with his backhoe, clearing and piling logs from newly cut trees, clearing branches and other debris, digging out boulders with grapple or stone bucket, and discing prior to planting. I could certainly use more FEL capacity for log carrying, stump and boulder removal. How much additional FEL and 3-PT lift could I expect from the TC55 ??

The short/quick answer is:

FEL - +500 lb
3PH - +1000 lb

...significant increase on both would be my description.

I think the tc40 used the 16la while the tc55 uses the 18la front end loader.
lift capacity is about 500 pounds more and the breakout force at the pins is about 1500 punds more. there should be a online manual at the new holland website about that.

download the .pdf file and off ya go!
