Well this is the first time I put my tractor to a serious pull test. I have a TC40DA, I bought this tractor over the 33 because I wanted enough power. I was pulling a 10 ft disc over a moldboard plowed field and could only pull in low - low and even than it would bog down occasionly. I really thought this tractor would handle this better.
Anyone else have a similar experience? Is the geared version better than the hydro for this type of pulling?
Am I in danger of pushing the tractors limits? Could I hurt anything in the hydro by doing this?
I thought I would need just 1 tractor on my small farm/ food plots but I think I may need to buy an older pulling tractor. However, I really don't want to maintain and store another tractor.
