I'm looking at a TC40D (hydro) that is last year's model. The tractor is supersteer equipped and has a 17 loader with quick attach bucket. Dealer is at $21,100 in S.W. Indiana. Pretty expensive tractor. How is the dealer doing on price? Looks like I will want to put rear wheel weights on, how much will that cost? I'm also looking into a 5' rotary cutter, 6' box and ~7' blade to work on the driveway. Has anyone had issues with this machine. I'm concerned about the supersteer with heavy loader work. Any other "weak" pionts? What about the sensitrack?

That seems like a real good price with the supersteer option. I don't have supersteer on my TC45DA, but I wouldn't characterize it as a weak point. Most people on this site who have that option seem to really love it once you get past the learning curve. The only 'weak' point is with last year's model, you are stuck with the antique headlights, instead of the ulta-modern chick-magnet new lights. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Andy, don't sound like to bad of a price. I haven't experienced supersteer yet either; at least not in a real work environment.

I just ordered a TC45DA with SuperSteer/SensiTrak. I haven't herd any bad reports on that option yet. Just herd it takes a little getting use too. Other than that everyone who has that option seems to love it along with SensiTrak as Brian has already stated. You might want to talk to PineRidge he can give you some advise and opinions on his experiences with SuperSteer. Andy, that price is not just good, it's GREAT! With supersteer and the quick-attach loader, I'd expect the price to be over $1,200 more. That dealer is making you a very good deal. ...and I like the old lights better. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
