TC40D fuel cap

Succeeded in losing the fuel cap on my TC40D.

Anyone have an aftermarket version? Sure wish I could get something at NAPA or similar.

Uhoh! Time for a cork.

I have left my cap off a few times and it always ended up sliding forward. It probably would not be a bad idea to put a chain on the lid and attach it somewhere. Have you searched where you drove?

I searched high, I searched low, I searched right, I searched left So, it has a plastic bag, and a rubber band to keep the dust out for the moment. And, only 1/2 tank of fuel so it does not slosh too much.

Ordered one thru Dolk Tractor in Rio Vista; All the dealers are 60-70 miles away.

And NAPA, could not help; for all the stuff they have, a TC40D fuel cap is not it.
