tc40 shutting down randomly

The other day I was mowing the yard with my tc40 and the glow plug light came on and went back off. Few minutes later it came back on and tractor cut off. Took pto out of gear and went to restart tractor and got nothing. After trying a few times the tractor started back up. During the time trying to finish up mowing tractor cut off about 10 times total. Sometimes the tractor would start up and cut right back off or start up and run a few minutes. When ever the glow plug light came on it would cut off tractor. Now when I try to start tractor the glow plug light just stays on and no cranking of motor. Any ideas what this can be?
been told it could be ground short, glow plug timer or relay.

The glowplugs will activate every time the power is cycled with the ignition switch in the run position. This would occur with an intermittent incoming power electrical connection. There are several reports in this forum of TCXX models with failed ignition switches. I would also look at the condition of the fuses and fuse holders.

An intermittent electrical connection will also de-energize the the injection pumps solenoid, stalling the engine.

Problem solved. Roll pin worked its way out of the shuttle shift shaft at top of transmission. Rubbed a hole though wire loom and wire.

I don't think this will be the same issue as mine since I have a Case DX33 / tc33da but where was the wire that got damaged? I am having a similar issue!
