Price Check TC40 price? chains?

Hello guys,
Sold the old MF 175.
I just got a quote (yesterday)for a TC40,with industrial tires,loader, tires loader, folding rops, for 19,300. Does this sound correct?
I live in an area (central vermont) that often gets below -20 and regularly gets over 150" of snow. Driveway is also very steep. So, what is the story on tire chains for these tractors? Can they be purchased from an aftermarket company? Or is the clearance just too damn close between the tires and fenders?

Chains can be purchased at tirechains. I can't comment on the clearance issues on a TC40, I have a TC25D.

Hey, TS. It sounds like your price quoted is very fair for a non-D model TC40. If you decide to get it, think seriously about adding the deluxe style adjustable length hydraulic lift arms. You will never regret getting them. I can't answer your questions about chains since I live in TX, but I bet your dealer could tell you. Good luck.

I should also mention that the price of 19,300 includes a blockheater. Are the deluxe hydraulic arms on the 3 point hitch or are they on the loader?

It's the rear lift arms as seen in this picture. If you have ever hooked up a 3pt without these arms, often you end up just a "skoosh" off and have to nudge the implement or tractor to get the link arms onto the implement's pins. With the adjustable arms, you just release the variable length mechanism and slide the arm back and attach it to the pin. When you back up after attaching the implement, the arms latch into the normal position. It really saves a lot of grief and makes hooking up implements a breeze.
