TC40
Hello list, long time lurker, first time poster. (and now in the correct forum.)

Just bought a TC40 without a user guide.

I understand all of the controls but one. Can somene tell me which position engages the 4wd? The diagram on the fender leaves me clueless.

PS, I'll try to get a manual so I don't become to much of a nuisance.

Thanks.

Dave

I think it's up for 4wd and down for 2 ---it's been so long since I've been in the seat I hardly remember what it looks like - I put my 45 in 4wd and left it there - spin your wheels and watch the front - you'll discover soon enuff --

Does it have SuperSteer? If so, the front wheel drive engage lever is to the lower left of the seat - up is engaged, down is disengaged - the lever on the left fender would be for auto or lock on the front wheel drive.

definetly handle up for FWD. remember to push in the clutch if your not a "D" model to move from FWD to 2WD or visa versa, IAW my manual and experience. Proud owner of a TC40 with 63hrs and 0 problemos!!

The easiest way to remember is to push the lever toward the front wheels if you want the front wheels to engage. This puts it in 4WD.
