Have a New Holland TC40 with a loader on it. Loader works fine, the three point hitch does not. The 3 point will only raise when you throttle the tractor up and then you can stop it by adding a little wait. I have 2000 psi and the loader ports, new o-ring and backup ring on the lift cylinder, new o rings on the HPL valve, their does not seem to be much fluid coming out of the diverter valve to supply the three point, have tried the adjustment screw in both positions. Anyone have any ideas on what to check?

Thanks

Is this a new(to you) tractor, or just a new problem? Anything been changed/worked on since the lift last worked correctly?

There's a lot involved in troubleshooting the hydraulics system. I have a factory service manual at http://www.texashogtraps.com/nhrepair.zip, there's an entire section dedicated to just the hydraulics. I think if you follow the troubleshooting steps in there, you'll probably find a resolution faster than going back and forth with us here. Just do us a favor and come back to let us know what the fix was, please.
