TC35D Will not Start

I am a new member and have spent an hour or searching for a similar post. The problem I have is the engine won't start. Engine turns over, all indicator lights are lit as normal. There is a click when the key is turned on at the pump. Fuel Solenoid opening?
All fuses checked OK.
Timer may be bad for the glow plug and will be checking that today. I don't think it would be a safety switch since the engine is turning over, but will check them.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Glow plugs may not be working. They can be checked first with an voltmeter or test light to see if they are getting power when you turn your key. If so then you may have to check them individually by pulling them and checking with an ohmmeter.
How cold is it where you are? If too cold your fuel could be gelling. If you have a see through fuel bowl look to see if fuel is cloudy or waxy looking. If it is you'll need to get some heat going to make it turn back into liquid. Then add some power service or similar additive to prevent gelling.
The motor is cranking so I doubt its a safety switch.

What is the temp? Has it started before? When?
How old is the tractor?
Oil viscosity?
When you say it turns over, you mean briskly and without hesitation or slowing, implying a great battery and good connections.

Turning over without starting is a fuel delivery problem or a massive air intake problem. Are you in an area where fuel can gel? What is your location? Is there a mouse nest in your air cleaner housing?

You need to be completely sure that your fuel shutoff solenoid is operating. If you have a faulty seat switch or a faulty operator safety module or relay, then the fuel cutoff solenoid will not operate. You sound like you are confident it is working, so I'd say DocHeb has given you terrific advice. Look for a fuel delivery problem unless it is very cold and your glowplugs aren't working.

I tested my fuel solenoid by running a wire from the battery to the solenoid. I turned the key and the tractor started. I put a slide connector on the solenoid end so it held in place. I did the same on the battery end with a little pig tail attached to the battery. You will know right away weather it is elect or the solenoid.

I seem to recall that the tractor will turn over, but not start, if the seat switch is not operating. I believe this is different than other switches in that the others (tranny in neutral, foot on brake, etc) will not even let the engine turn over. To check, the seat switch can be easily jumpered.
