My Boomer is blowing the 7.5 A Rabbit / Turtle fuse... sometimes it lasts a week, sometimes it lasts 20 minutes, depending on how hard I'm working the tractor.
Any Ideas on where I can start looking?

That fuse not only supplies the rabbit/turtle circuit, but also the cruise control switch and magnet as well as the alternator malfunction light on the dash. Are you not using cruise at all when the fuse blows? How hard you work the tractor normally has nothing to do with this type of failure. Most likely you have a short (intermittent short) in a wire going to the range solenoid or the cruise control magnet. The range solenoid is located on the left side of the transmission and the cruise magnet is on the right side of the transmission. Check the wires for chafing and damage.

thanks, not using cruise... pulled the cruise control relay anyway, found wires going to range solenoid loose (cheep barrel connectors). Ran tractor for 45 min, didn't blow. we'll see. Thanks again!
