2007 New Holland TC35A
I just bought a 2007 TC35A with 620 hours. I put about an additional five hours on the tractor and started having what I believe are clutch issues. The tractor pulls fine in lower gears but in higher gears loses power up hills or won't move at all on flat ground in top gear. I'm considering splitting the tractor on my own to save money but I don't want to get in over my head either. It also seems odd for a tractor with so few hours to be having clutch issues even with the FEL. The tractor otherwise is in great shape. All the fluids are clean and I've checked the clutch linkages. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Also a New Holland clutch is twice what an aftermarket clutch from my local dealer cost. Is there that much difference in quality?

I've got a 2005 TC48DA with the same problem. Last year i was able to adjust the clutch linkage underneath to help solve the problem. Service techs told me the clutch was not releasing all the way causing it to slip.

Now, the linkage is fully extended and I have no more adjustments. I am assuming that my clutch plate is shot. Seems like i can get a replacement for under $200 on ebay but im not sure what the labor is going to cost me.

Runs great in low, 1-4. Sometimes i can move along min mid range, but the slightest incline brings it to a stop.
