Take the hard lines off the bulkhead fittings where they go through the frame. Take the nuts off the bulkhead fittings and shove them through the frame towards the hoses. Removethe cylinder and hoses together.

i have loosened the outside and inside bulkhead but can't hard line or the hoses off. I have never removed any hydraulic hoses so am totally in the dark- any further explanation appreciated.

Remove the two steel tubes from the bulkhead fittings that pass through the frame.
Remove the nuts from the bulkhead fittings. I believe the nuts are on the outside of the frame.
Shove the bulkhead fittings through the frame, remove the cylinder with the hoses and bulkhead fittings still connected.
Pay attention to which hose goes through what position in the frame.
If the bulkhead nuts are on the inside of the frame remove the hoses from the fittings and leave the fittings in place.
