my uncle was moving snow this winter with his tc33d, he said he heard a loud snap and now it won't move at all, all hydraulics still work, any ideas on what may have broke?

Did you check the driveshaft or other transmission components?

Will it not move in both 4wd and 2wd? The hydraulic pump runs directly off the engine, so that is why it is still pumping. If only 4wd is affected, then you have driveline/front differential issues. If both 2wd and 4wd, then it might be the clutch or mid-transmission driveline. Can you hear any sound from the HST when you move the treadle?

driveshafts are ok, doesn't move in 2 0r 4 wheel drive and can't hear any change in sound when moving treadle

Make sure it didn't pop out of range, I've had that happen on my Kubota. Try changing from Hi to Lo back and forth to make sure it's really in gear.

Try engaging the ptos to see if there is driveline power to them. If not, I would look at clutch problems. If they operate, then you have hydrostat issues. Find out and we will work from there.

perhaps the shaft connecting the f/r pedals to the tranny broke?

I think it is likely that you have a splined collar or other shaft mating assy that has failed. It could easily also be in the rear differential. Jacking up the rear wheels and doing a test with the range selector in gear and out would also be helpful. I truly doubt the HST has failed. That's just not in the nature of HST transmissions to fail as you described. Something making a pop is far more gear related.

Checked the pto and its not engaging, I'm guessing either a clutch problem or input shaft issue? I will probably pull it apart in the next couple of weeks and I will let you know what I find thanks for the help and ideas.
