TC33D clutch isue

Hello all,
I am brand new to this site.
I bought a TC33D from a gentlemen that spun a rod bearing. Tractor was disassembled when i recieved it. Engine is all rebuilt, and i'm ready to set engine in.
I have a few questions about the clutch installation. I see no pilot bearing. Do they use one? And when installing clutch assembly, can some please inform me the right way the clutch packs get installed. Theres a hub looking piece in the centre of the one plate, which direction does it go. I thing it goes towards the trans, because when installing engine it doesnt feel like it grabs the other way.

Any help would be great, any pictures would be even better!!

Welcome to TBN, Chris. There is a ball bearing pilot bearing. I believe the disc is installed with the hub away from the flywheel.

Thank you, my tractor only has the single clutch, not the double. Do all the engine models have a pilot bearing and the release bearing?
Like the problem i see is, the pilot shaft wouldnt be long enough to go into the pilot bearing in end of crank.
Maybe i'm over looking something.

Yes, they do all have pilot bearings. The input shaft is machined down to the bearing dimension, then steps up to the clutch splines. Is it possible the pilot nose is ground off of the shaft?

Is yours a 9x3 transmission?
